The Life Changing Magic of an Awesome Pantry
For those of you who have heard of Marie Kondo and "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up" you can appreciate this post and for those of you who have major OCD.. then you get it, haha! Marie's method is very simple and really is a practice in simplifying your life and getting rid of the things that don't serve or bring value to your life. GOLD. Sounds really simple, but I did really enjoy this quick read and often think about how I can simplify my life so that things that truly bring me joy stick around and those that don't get donated to someone who needs/values them far more than mwah.
So.. the inner chef in me decided that the pantry would be a great place to start. Now, disclaimer... I have tried to attempt this project before but it always fizzled out after I realized how much stuff I have and how many glass jars I needed, HA. BUT, this time around I knew it was time to commit to magic. After 14 Amazon orders..no seriously, we now have the most picture perfect pantry. This space has instantly became my favorite room ever and often times you will find me showing anyone that walks through my front door the magic that it exudes. Now while it is Instagram worthy it truly has elevated my chef game. Now that I can see all the wonderful ingredients I have I can now start experimenting with the ingredients that once hid in the back of my shelves. Soooo.. if you are yearning for some magic in your kitchen arena. This is it. You will love the results and your tummy may benefit too. :) Cheers to creating magic friends.
What I used:
Bormioli Rocco Jars (33.75 oz, and 50 1/4 oz and a few 25 1/4 oz)
Sharpie water based paint marker for text
Thrive Market dried goods. If you haven't tried their stuff.. you are missing the boat. Organic goods that don't break the bank. :)
May this post provide a little inspiration for spring cleaning :).
In health and happiness,
